Once upon a long Long LONG time ago...

SO word on the street that basketball will resume starting Christmas day. So that means Basketball+ Men + TV= NO ATTENTION. Welp, I actually looked forward to the NBA lockout. *evil laugh* Any who, how have y'all been? *waits for answer* Well, I'm not too bad, thanks for asking. However, lately I've been thinking. Actually, I've been thinking entirely too much, it's driving me CRAZY!! One thing that crossed my mind today is men now-a- days aren't like how they used to be. I don't mean that in a good way either! So, I was walking to class and because my mother raised me well, I was holding the door for incoming people. One of these people was a young man (and I use that term very Loosely ). After, he walked through the first set of doors, he went through the next and didn't hold the door open for anybody NOR did he say thank you to me. So check this out back in my young days I would of grabbed him by his stringy dreads but I'm a lady so I just brushed it off and kept it moving. Now because of this I've been thinking. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO.....?

1. Men (including boys!!) holding the door for females
2. Taking bags out of women's hand
3. Standing on the left side when walking on a sidewalk
4. Sleep on the side of the bed that is near the door
5. Good morning/ Good night messages
6. Acknowledging a women's beauty first thing in the morning (I guess this only applies to the ones who actually look appealing in the morning lol, sorry ladies)
7. Helping out. (ie. I cook, you set the dinner table. I pay for gas, you pump the car. I take my clothes off, you... oops lol)

Don't misquote me now, there are still those ones out there that do these things but a long Long LONG time ago these men were frequently there.
